Marrakech: visit lively Marrakech and admire the famous Koutoubia Mosque, the beautiful Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, Agdal Garden, and the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa market.
Ouarzazate: also known as ‘The door of the desert’, this interesting city and its surrounding area are part of a noted film-making location, where international movies like Gladiator or part of the TV Series Game of Thrones were shot.
Oulad Berhil: stroll the beautifully arranged paths of this little town located in the charming Taroudant province, well known for its old Kasbahs.
Tafraout: Let the heart of Berber country, situated in an amazing valley surrounded by mountains, amaze your eyes.
Day 1: ARRIVAL MARRAKECH (10km – 20min)
Welcome to Morocco! Once you have collected your car drive to the hotel for check-in.

Day 2: MARRAKECH
After breakfast at the hotel, get ready for a free day of relaxing or exploring Marrakech at leisure.

Day 3: MARRAKECH – OUARZAZATE (205 km – 4hrs)
After breakfast depart bustling Marrakech, heading towards Ouarzazate. Pass through the winding roads and admire the impressive landscape. Perhaps make a stop at Ait Ben Haddou, one of the famous ksars (castles) of the south, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a preferred filming site for many famous TV shows and films. On arrival in Ouarzazate, check-in at the hotel.

Day 4: OUARZAZATE – ZAGORA (165km – 2.5hrs)
Enjoy breakfast, then hit the road again to drive towards Zagora, one of the prettiest towns in Southern Morocco. Savour dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: ZAGORA
Wake up to breakfast at the hotel and enjoy Zagora at your own pace. It still preserves many ancient Kasbahs and old fortresses on the foothills of the Anti-Atlas or Lesser Atlas. Enjoy dinner at the hotel. Alternatively, you can choose to spend the night in a tented camp in the desert, once in a lifetime experience (at an additional cost, available as an optional extra).

Day 6: ZAGORA – OULED BERHIL OR TAROUDANT
Enjoy breakfast and then hit the road and head on to Taroudant, crossing various little oases on the way, as well as a handful of towns, including Foum Zguid, Tisslt and Taliouine (the number one producer of saffron), Aoulouz, Oulad Berhil and, eventually, Taroudant. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the night.

Day 7: OULED BERHIL OR TAROUDANT – TAFRAOUT
Have a delicious breakfast at your hotel before continuing your journey. Head towards Tafraout, travelling through the mesmerising Anti-Atlas; Ameln Valley. Enjoy an optional lunch break before admiring the almond groves and the panoramic views from Kerdous (own expense). Continue driving towards Tafraout, where an interesting orientation tour and a visit to the weekly market are waiting for you.

Day 8: TAFRAOUT – ESSAOUIRA (265km – 4hrs)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then continue towards Essaouira, passing by the Tiznit, the ‘silver capital’, a place that has cultivated a great reputation for its ancient ramparts, Berber silver jewellery, and very friendly residents. Stroll the beautifully arranged streets of Tiznit’s old Medina and enjoy an optional lunch break before heading towards Essaouira, your last stop. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing or exploring the charming city.

Day 9: ESSAOUIRA
Have breakfast at the hotel and then step out onto the streets of Essaouira to enjoy a full day to yourself. This is your chance to explore the wonders of Essaouira and the surrounding areas, a region brimming with natural wonders and historical landmarks, at your own rhythm. Today, you set the pace.

Day 10: ESSAOUIRA – MARRAKECH (180km – 3hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel, get ready for a free day of relaxing or exploring Marrakech at leisure.

Day 11: MARRAKECH DEPARTURE
Wake up to one last breakfast at the hotel. Then check out and bid farewell to Morocco as you drive to the airport to catch your return flight.
Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting religious or official buildings in Morocco. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
