Day 1: ATHENS
Arrival in Athens and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. In the evening, meeting with our assistant for a walk in the city center and dinner at a tavern in the Plaka area.
Day 2: ATHENS
Breakfast. Saronic Islands cruise with lunch included on board and transfers from the hotel. Return in the evening, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3: ATHENS - ARGOLIS - OLYMPIA
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Argolis: stop at the Corinth Canal, whose project dates back to the time of Nero, but it was only in 1890 that technology allowed the crossing of the 6 km Isthmus. Visit Mycenae, where you can admire the Lion Gate, which leads to the Citadel rich in history and mystery, the Tombs, the Throne Room, the Great Court, and finally stop at the Treasury of Atreus (Tomb of Agamemnon). *Lunch at a restaurant with drinks INCLUDED*. Departure for Epidaurus. The theater of Epidaurus, with a capacity of 14,000 people, was built with mathematical precision and extraordinary balance and is world-famous for its practically perfect acoustics.
Proceed to Olympia. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: OLYMPIA - DELPHI
Breakfast at the hotel, visit the site of Olympia, the ancient athletic and religious center of the Greek world, where the Olympic Games come to life again, with the Gymnasium, the Palestra, the Baths, the Leonidaion, the Bouleuterion, and the Olympia Museum. *Lunch at a restaurant with drinks INCLUDED*. Departure for Delphi. Accommodation at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 5: DELPHI - KALAMBAKA
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the archaeological site of Delphi, the navel of the Earth, where ancient people could consult the oracle after paying a tribute. You will admire the Castalian Spring, the Temple of Apollo, the Sacred Way, the Roman Agora, the Great Altar, the Theater, and visit the Museum, with the famous Charioteer. *Lunch at a restaurant with drinks INCLUDED*.
In the afternoon, departure for Kalambaka. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: KALAMBAKA - ATHENS
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the Meteora Monasteries, spiritual centers for monks and hermits, rich in icons and frescoes of immense value. *Lunch at a restaurant with drinks INCLUDED*. Departure for Athens. Arrival in the early evening. Accommodation at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 7: ATHENS - CAPE SOUNION - ATHENS
Breakfast. Departure for a city tour of Athens and the Acropolis: you will admire the University, the Library, the Academy, the Parliament with its Evzones, the Presidential Residence, and Hadrian's Arch. Climb to the Acropolis for a detailed visit to the Parthenon. Visit the Acropolis Museum. *Lunch at a restaurant with drinks INCLUDED*.
In the afternoon, departure for a panoramic tour to Cape Sounion, passing through some fashionable areas along the Athens coast (Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, and Varkiza). Along the way, the road runs alongside countless small coves and beaches, with crystal-clear waters, until reaching Cape Sounion, considered one of the most beautiful places in the world, where you can enjoy an unforgettable sunset from the top of the promontory and see the remains of the temple dedicated to Poseidon, the God of the sea. Return to Athens. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8: ATHENS
Breakfast at the hotel. transfer to the airport, in connection with the flight to Italy.
