Description

This trip is an immersion in the most authentic essence of the region, a tour that combines landscapes of mountains and olive groves with the rich gastronomic tradition of Segureño lamb. From Orcera to Castellar, each village becomes a living tale of culture, history and unforgettable flavours.

You will start in Orcera, a corner that embodies the tranquil beauty of the mountains. Its flowery streets and respect for water, evident in its river pool and old washing place, invite you to a relaxed walk through local history and traditions. Here, life goes by at a different pace, where the warmth of the people and the tranquility of the surroundings envelop you in a unique atmosphere. At night, the local gastronomy comes to life in the restaurants of the area, with Segureño lamb as the protagonist in each dish, prepared with care following recipes passed down from generation to generation.

The journey continues to Iznatoraf, a town that reveals itself as a hidden treasure, with streets that evoke the most authentic Andalusia. Between centuries-old walls and historic buildings, Iznatoraf is a testament to the melting pot of cultures that has marked this land. As you walk through its steep streets and admire its viewpoints, you will feel the deep connection between the landscape and history. Lunch at a local restaurant becomes a celebration of the region's flavors, with fresh produce and dishes that speak to the land and its traditions.

Chiclana de Segura transports you to a bygone era. Its white houses and its meandering urban layout, embedded in the rock, seem suspended in time. The views from the castle offer you a panoramic spectacle, a setting in which the provinces of Jaén, Ciudad Real, Granada and Albacete are intertwined. A visit to the Jorge Manrique Interpretation Centre connects you with literature and history, showing you the poet's legacy and his link with these lands. Chiclana is a place that invites you to contemplate, to get lost in its corners and let yourself be carried away by the serenity of its surroundings.

Finally, Castellar closes this journey with its mixture of history, archaeology and natural beauty. The Iberian Sanctuary, with the mystique of the Cueva de la Lobera, takes you back to ancient times, where the rites and beliefs of the Oretanos were intertwined with the landscape. Its museums, full of memory and art, offer you a journey through the past, from ancient times to modern days. And as you walk through its streets, you are enveloped by the aroma of olive oil, the liquid gold that is the soul of this land.

This journey is more than a route; It is a transformative experience that invites you to connect with the essence of a region rich in traditions, landscapes and culture. Each village, each dish, each landscape tells a story that remains engraved in the memory, leaving a trail of beauty, flavor and knowledge.
