TOUR PROGRAM
Malta, May 14–17 (3 nights – 4 days)
3 nights in a 3* hotel: Sliema Marina Hotel or similar, in double room with breakfast.
Tour leader from Italy: for departures from Rome Fiumicino, the tour leader travels with the group; for departures from other airports, participants will meet the tour leader directly at the hotel in Malta.
DAY 1
Arrival in Malta. Private transfer from the airport to the hotel.
Free time, dinner at leisure.
DAY 2
Full-day excursion (approx. 8.5 hours) with Italian-speaking guide to Mdina, Rabat and Dingli Cliffs (program to be confirmed upon booking):
Pick-up from your hotel and start of the tour with magical Mdina, the Silent City, where you will visit St. Paul’s Cathedral (optional entrance ticket €15). Continue with the fascinating catacombs of Rabat, then head to the impressive Dingli Cliffs, among the most striking natural landscapes in Malta. Enjoy a delicious traditional lunch in Mdina, then continue with a stroll through the San Anton Gardens and a stop at the Ta’ Qali crafts village to discover local products. End the day in Mosta, admiring the spectacular Rotunda of the Assumption, famous for its monumental dome, before returning to the hotel.

DAY 3
Morning
Walking tour of Valletta with Italian-speaking guide (approx. 4 hours):
Stroll among bastions, baroque palaces, churches, gardens and lively streets to discover why Valletta is considered an open-air museum. Highlights include the Upper Barrakka Gardens, with their breathtaking views over the Grand Harbour, and the St. John’s Co-Cathedral, famous for its richly decorated interiors and masterpieces of baroque art. The tour ends with an audiovisual show retracing 7,000 years of Maltese history in an engaging and evocative way (stops to be confirmed upon booking).

Free time.
Dinner at leisure.

Return to Italy. Private transfer from the hotel to the airport.
